Mekong Delta Impressions II

Vinh Long and the orchards
of An Binh

See the locations on Vinh Long Google Map

There is not much to see in Vinh Long town, but it's known as starting point for excursions to Cai Be Floating Market and nearby islands with fruit orchards in the Mekong. Then there are some pagodas as Van Thanh Mieu and Tịnh xá Ngọc Viên

Take the local ferry to An Binh Island and wander around. Read the report by Rachel_John.
You can get boat trips to Cai Be floating market (one way takes 45 minutes) here as well homestays, read nore in the guide travelfish.org .
