There is not much to see in Vinh Long town, but it's known as starting point for excursions to Cai Be Floating Market and nearby islands with fruit orchards in the Mekong. Then there are some pagodas as Van Thanh Mieu and Tịnh xá Ngọc Viên
Take the local ferry to An Binh Island and wander around. Read the report by Rachel_John.

Van Thanh Mieu pagoda: Tran Phu Street. The temple dates from 1866 and is dedicated to Confuzius. Phan Thanh Gian is honoured here.
